Davidoff is a high end perfume house based in Switzerland. It is one of the most popular perfumes in Europe; especially in Italy and France. They have many different products from body lotions to shower gels.
One of their biggest sellers is the Davidoff Cool Water perfume for women. This is a refreshing scent that captures the essence of the ocean breeze along the shore line. When you smell it, you can almost imagine being on the beach with the cool salty water lapping over your bare toes.
What Does Davidoff Cool Water For Women Smell Like
When you first spray on Davidoff Cool Water, you will notice some sweet Melon, Lotus, Lemon, Pineapple, Quince, Calone, Lily and Black Currant; middle notes are Lotus, Water Lily, Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine, Honey, Hawthorn, and Rose; base notes are Musk, Vetiver, Raspberry, Blackberry, Violet Root, Sandalwood, Peach, and Vanilla. All together it is like walking through a field of wildflowers in springtime.
Then just as quickly as it started it ends. There is no lingering scent. If anything the drydown smells even sweeter than the opening. The only thing that lingers after the scent is gone is a hint of warmth. It leaves behind a memory of something nice that happened while wearing the perfume. As long as you don't apply too much of the scent it should last all day without needing to reapply.
Projection
Davidoff Cool Water has average projection; however, it doesn't seem to linger like most scents. If you walk into a room where someone else was recently wearing this perfume you might catch a whiff of it but otherwise it shouldn't be hard to miss unless they were really liberal with their application.
On me personally though the scent seems to evaporate rather quickly leaving little trace of the scent except for a pleasant warmth which lasts about 5 minutes. It's not bad and definitely unique, but it isn't what you're looking for if you want to leave an impression on others.
When to Wear Davidoff Cool Water For Women
This is a perfect perfume to wear on hot summer days or nights. You'll find that everyone who comes within five feet of you will be sniffing it before long; and once they realize it won't stain clothes like most perfumes, they'll probably ask you what it is and give themselves a chance to check out the scent for themselves.
In fact, if you keep spraying more and more onto yourself people will soon start asking you questions about how much you paid for it and whether or not they can get some for themselves. So take advantage of it while you can because once word gets out, you'll likely never be able to buy any again.
That said, if you are planning on going somewhere fancy, like an upscale restaurant or party, this might not be the right scent for you since it is very light in comparison to other perfumes in its class. However, it may still be appropriate for daytime use if you need to blend in with the crowd; especially if you know that you are going to encounter people who wear colognes or perfumes with stronger scents.
