Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat Unisex Review - The Warmth and Freshness of Incense in a Bottle
Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat is one of their most popular scents. When we say unisex, it means that it appeals to both men and women equally. This perfume comes from the London based house of Jo Malone.
Jo Malone is known for having some of the most luxurious products out there like candles, soaps, and now perfumes. This particular fragrance is meant to be a masculine scent; however, it is quite nice on women as well.
What Does Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat Smell Like
This fragrance starts off with notes of bergamot and cardamom. They give it a light citrus smell right away. Then they mix these two notes together with cedarwood and lavender.
These three ingredients create a very earthy scent that lasts long after the initial spritz. All of the notes combine perfectly to create a warm and soothing aroma. You can definitely tell that the base note is sandalwood which gives it this relaxing quality.
This scent doesn't really have a defined end; instead, it just fades into nothingness slowly over time. There is no lingering drydown like many other fragrances do. Instead, it kind of dissipates until it becomes completely gone.
This fragrance isn't too strong, but it is still fairly noticeable. It may seem faint when you first apply it to your skin because of all of the different notes mixing together, but once it dries down you will notice it more than ever before.
The projection of this fragrance is pretty average though since it doesn't last too long. It won't leave a lasting impression on people's noses unless you are close to them, but even then it probably wouldn't linger long enough to cause any problems.
When To Wear Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat
This fragrance is perfect for wearing during the fall or winter seasons. That being said, it works better if you pair it with something else like a sweater or jacket; otherwise, the warmth might feel a little claustrophobic. However, it could be paired with jeans if you didn't need anything too thick on top of it.
