Clinique Happy In Bloom Bees 2013 EDP For Women - A Floral Fragrance That is Perfect for Summer
Clinique has released several different editions of their Happy In Bloom perfume over the years; however, the most recent one—2013's Happy in Bloom Bees edition—is perhaps the best-seller of all time. The original version of this perfume came out in the early 1990s, and although the scent wasn't exactly popular back then, things have changed quite a bit since then.
What Does Clinique Happy In Bloom Bees 2013 Smell Like
The top notes are Fruity Notes and Apricot; middle notes are Mimosa, Freesia, and Incense; base notes are White Woods and Woody Notes.
These ingredients come together to form a sweet yet subtle blend of fruits and florals; the former are present in such abundance that they almost seem like the star of the show. This isn't an overly sweet scent. On the contrary, it's rather light and refreshing—it feels more like a fruity candy than a perfume.
As for the flowers, they're barely noticeable at all. They don't really smell like roses or lilies or anything of the sort; instead, they give off just enough of a floral vibe to complement the overall scent. If you've ever smelled fruit candies before, then you know what to expect here. It smells kind of like strawberry shortcake, without the cake part.
Projection
Happy In Bloom Bees comes in a clear bottle with a frosted glass stopper. The scent doesn't linger long after application. Its projection is average: about 1.5 inches.
While that may sound unimpressive, keep in mind that this is a feminine EDP perfume meant for daytime use—a scent that lasts less than three hours won't last long enough to matter very much; in fact, some people prefer scents with shorter longevity because they feel it gives them more control over their fragrance experience.
When to Wear Clinique Happy In Bloom Bees 2013
This perfume is perfect for summer days spent outdoors (especially if you plan on spending most of it outside). If you're going to be spending a lot of time in hot weather, you might want to consider purchasing another fragrance, though, as the heat can quickly take its toll on this one.
That being said, it should still be fine for occasional use; if you find yourself sweating profusely while wearing Happy In Bloom Bees, simply apply a little more to reapply the scent. It'll be gone by morning anyway.
